Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 4, 2026
WOWMAX PRIME ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard your information when you use our website, mobile application and streaming services (collectively, the "Service").
1. Information We Collect
We collect information that you provide directly to us, information collected automatically when you use the Service, and information from third parties such as payment processors and login providers. This may include personal details, device data, payment information and your viewing activity.
2. Personal Information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, date of birth (where applicable) and password. This information is used to set up and manage your account, communicate with you, and personalize your experience on WOWMAX PRIME.
3. Device Information
We automatically collect information about the devices you use to access WOWMAX PRIME, including device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, IP address, browser type, network information and app version. This helps us optimize streaming quality and enforce device limits associated with your subscription plan.
4. Payment Information
Payments made on WOWMAX PRIME are processed through secure, PCI-compliant third-party payment gateways such as Razorpay, Stripe, PayPal and PayU. We do not store your full card, UPI or bank details on our servers. We may retain limited transaction metadata (such as order ID, amount and payment status) for billing, invoicing and fraud-prevention purposes.
5. Viewing History
We keep track of the movies, series and episodes you watch, your watch progress, ratings, reviews and wishlist to improve content recommendations, resume playback across devices and enhance your overall streaming experience.
7. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to provide and maintain the Service, process subscriptions and payments, personalize recommendations, send important account and service notifications, respond to support requests, detect and prevent fraud, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
8. Data Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards — including encryption in transit, access controls and secure infrastructure — to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Third Party Services
We work with trusted third-party service providers for payment processing, cloud hosting, content delivery, analytics and communication (SMS/email/OTP). These providers only receive the information necessary to perform their services and are contractually obligated to protect your data. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
10. Children's Privacy
WOWMAX PRIME is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising the use of family or kids' profiles. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child without parental consent, we will take steps to delete such information.
11. Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately at support@wowmaxprime.com if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.
12. Changes to Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements or other factors. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date, and continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
